Request for Proposals (RFP) Speaker and Poster Presentations on Psychedelic Assisted Therapy
The Colorado Psychological Association (CPA) is pleased to announce a call for speaker proposals and poster presentations at a day-long symposium focused on Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. This event aims to explore the latest research, best practices, ethical and legal considerations surrounding the integration of psychedelics into mental health treatment.
Symposium Objectives:
- To examine current research findings on the efficacy and safety of psychedelic assisted therapy (considerations for difference in medicines, risks and benefits to certain populations, etc).
- To explore best practices and protocols for the clinical application of psychedelic assisted therapy.
- To discuss ethical considerations and legal frameworks and regulatory issues relevant to the practice of psychedelic assisted therapy in Colorado.

The Colorado Psychological Association (CPA) is pleased to announce a call for proposals for presentations at a day-long symposium focused on Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. This event aims to explore the latest research, best practices, ethical and legal considerations surrounding the integration of psychedelics into mental health treatment.
Symposium Objectives:

Possible Presentation Topics:
The symposium seeks proposals on a range of topics related to psychedelic assisted therapy, including but not limited to:
- Clinical Applications of Psychedelic Assisted Therapy: Evidence-based approaches, therapeutic techniques, and case studies.
- Neurobiological Mechanisms: Understanding the neural correlates of psychedelic experiences and their therapeutic effects.
- Ethical Guidelines: Considerations for informed consent, therapist training, and harm reduction in psychedelic therapy.
- Legal Landscape: Current regulations, policy developments, and implications for mental health professionals.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Addressing cultural competency, accessibility, and social justice in psychedelic therapy practice.
