Presenters:
- Amy Austin (she/her) is the Recovery & Community Supports Unit Supervisor for the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF). As part of the Behavioral Health Benefit Section, Amy and her team oversee Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program) outpatient behavioral health benefits. Amy holds a Master’s in Public Policy and prior to joining HCPF spent six years working for community-based organizations, designing and facilitating programs for diverse populations.
- Jennifer Holcomb is the Behavioral Health Benefits Section Manager at HCPF. She provides subject matter expertise and oversees the development and implementation of policies and guidance related to the mental health and substance use disorder services and benefits administered by HCPF’s Behavioral Health Implementation and Coverage Department. Jennifer has more than 30 years of experience spanning research and organizational management as well as direct service provision to vulnerable populations.
