Description: Take a look back at CPA's plan to pursue legislation to grant prescriptive authority (RxP) to licensed psychologists with advanced degrees and training in prescribing psychotropic medications to increase access to appropriate mental health treatment for Coloradans. As part of the strategic planning, CPA is planning to provide a series of webinars targeting the education about the historical background of RxP and the future direction for this needed effort. In this CE credit webinar, we have two prescribing psychologists from New Mexico, which is the first state in the nation to grant RxP to psychologists.
