For the first part of the day, 8am - 12pm, CPA is partnering with Mental Health Colorado for a Capitol Hill Day. We’ll start the morning with a dynamic round of advocacy training, then walk over to the State Capitol to meet our representatives and senators. You’ll learn about some of the most important issues in this year’s legislative session — and how can you make a difference.

The second half of the day begins with lunch featuring CPA’s lobbyist, Jeannie Vanderburg. Her topic is Utilizing Advocacy to Futher the Profession of Psychology in Your State. Following lunch, there are two Continuing Education Sessions (1.5 credits each). The day ends with Happy Hour to network with your colleagues! Lunch and CE Sessions are sponsored by The Trust.
