Call for Comments: Revision of Guidelines for Psychological Practice in Health Care Delivery Systems

In accordance with Association Rule 30.8, the Board of Professional Affairs (BPA), in collaboration with the Committee on Professional Practice and Standards (COPPS), seeks public and member comments on the revision of Guidelines for Psychological Practice in Health Care Delivery Systems. The purpose of these current guidelines is to assist psychologists, other health care providers, administrators in health care delivery systems, and the public to conceptualize the roles and responsibilities of psychologists in these diverse contexts. We welcome your input, suggestions and commentary on key issues in health care service delivery today and how these guidelines might be revised going forward.

Call for Comments: Revision of Guidelines for Psychological Evaluations in Child Protection Matters

In accordance with Association Rule 30.8, the Board of Professional Affairs (BPA), in collaboration with the Committee on Professional Practice and Standards (COPPS), seeks public and member comments on the proposed revision of Guidelines for Psychological Evaluations in Child Protection Matters. The purpose of these guidelines is to educate the profession, the public, and the other interested parties regarding desirable professional practice in child protection matters continues to increase. Because psychologists may assume various roles and responsibilities in child protection matters, the following guidelines were developed primarily for psychologists conducting psychological evaluations in such matters. We welcome your input, suggestions and commentary on key issues in child protection matters today and how these guidelines might be revised going forward.
