Seeking Comments on Draft of the APA Guidelines for Psychological Practice for People with Low-Income and Economic Marginalization

The American Psychological Association seeks comments from all interested individuals and groups – including psychologists, healthcare professionals, researchers, APA governance members, and the general public on the draft of the Guidelines for Psychological Practice for People with Low-Income and Economic Marginalization.

The Guidelines are divided into four major domains: Training and Education, Low-Income and Economically Marginalized and Health Disparities, Treatment Considerations, Intersection of Low-Income and Economically Marginalized with Career Concerns and Unemployment.

We are seeking feedback on the content of the rationale and applications sections of each guideline.  In addition, we are seeking overall feedback on the readability of the entire document.

This draft was developed by an APA guidelines development task force. Your comments will provide valuable input to the task force as it works to produce the final version of the guidelines.

Comments must be submitted by midnight, April 23, 2019, Eastern Time.
