**WANTED: ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS FOR CPA WEBSITE **
The communication committee of the Colorado Psychological Association (CPA) needs your help.
For the past year the student committee members have been working on making the student portion of the CPA website more user-friendly. We have been working on making the site more accessible to current and prospective students by creating documents and providing information on all the topics that pertain to current and future graduate students in psychology.
Here’s a brief list of article examples:
Articles for Students
1. Scholarships and Funding (pre-application and during graduate study)
2. Professional Issues
- Licensing
- Law
- General Trends in Colorado
3. Tips and Resources
- Self Care
- Etc. Articles (things you wish you knew before and during your graduate studies)
Career Paths in Psychology
1. Fields in Psychology
- I/O
- Counseling
- Clinical
- Child/Family
- Forensic
The articles you provide only need to be 1-2 pages in length and are only meant to provide basic information. Your submission will be published on the student portion of the CPA website including your name as publication author. This is a great opportunity to bulk up your vita and become a larger part of the psychology community in Colorado.
If you have any questions or would like to sign up for any of the above articles please contact Shawna Urbanski at surbansk@du.edu by May 31st, 2009.
