Bio:

I have a doctorate in psychology, counseling and guidance and a masters in vocational rehabilitation counseling.  I also teach biofeedback in the DU Sport and Performance Psychology masters degree program in the Graduate School of Professional Psychology.  I was a professor of psychology for many years before going into private practice in psychology.  I monitor heart rate variability and breathing chemistry (ETC02) and other physiology as needed to help clients see how their stresses have physiological correlates and how to gain more control.  I teach this around the world.  Empowering my clients with skills to enhance awareness and understanding is an important part of my therapy.  I use Skype with clients from elsewhere or those who cannot make it in to sessions.  My work is eclectic, drawing from cognitive behavioral, psychophysiological and existential/transpersonal.
