I provide psychotherapy and psychological evaluation for adults. My clients often note my calming demeanor and non-judgemental manner to facilitate their comfort for exploring and resolving personal difficulties. My approach to therapy involves the exploration of beliefs that clients have about themselves and their life experiences. While talking about their distress, clients are assisted in viewing their experiences from different perspectives which can lead to greater happiness and more a effective way of life.

Psychological evaluations are very thorough and tailored to each individual. Reports include information about cognition, mood, self-concept, relationship dynamics, nature and management of psychological conflicts, suicide and violence risk, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.

Particular interests of mine are adjustment to serious illness and recovery from injury. My experience includes a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in primary care health psychology (Michigan State University). This fellowship provided extensive opportunity to work alongside family practice physicians in both outpatient and inpatient medical settings.
