Barbara Fly Dierks, PhD, is an Executive Coach/Adjunct Faculty Member at the Center for Creative LeadershipR (CCL), having worked with CCL since 1997. She works with a wide range of middle- to upper-level executives from all over the world and a wide variety of organizations.Barbara divides her time between executive coaching/consulting and serving as the Vice President of Academic Services for the University of the Rockies. Dr. Dierks is highly skilled in many areas of instrumentation, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the FIRO-B, Social Style & Versatility, the Strength Deployment Inventory, and the Workplace Big Five. Additionally, she is skilled in a variety of 360-degree feedback instruments including all of the Campbell Development Surveys, Benchmarks, and Executive Dimensions. Barbara is one of the group of founding members of the University of the Rockies (UoR), formerly the Colorado School of Professional Psychology (COSPP) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has served in a variety of executive roles at UoR. The University grants both master's and doctoral degrees and offers programs and specializations in Clinical Psychology and Organizational Leadership. Barbara has 18 years of experience teaching a variety of courses at the master's and doctoral levels including Executive Coaching, Ethics, Foundations of Organizational Consulting, Lifestyle and Career Development, Counseling Techniques, Personality Theory, Psychological Evaluation, Child and Adolescent Development, and Child and Adolescent Psychopathology and Treatment. Prior to her current work, Barbara's areas of specialization as a Licensed Psychologist were communication and relationship skills and working with couples, families and children. Barbara earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, graduating Cum Laude, with Highest Distinction in Psychology, and earned her MA and PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. She is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Colorado. Barbara is currently a member of The American Psychological Association, The Colorado Psychological Association, The Psychological Society of the Pikes Peak Region, and the National Association of Professional Women. Living in Colorado Springs, Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, four-wheeling in the mountains, motorcycling, participating in classic car events, and traveling.
